When it comes to gaming nothing compares to a nice well made headset. If you can game with it on for hours at a time and it is still comfortable then the only thing that is of any importance is the sound quality. For me personally I have to say that if a headset is comfortable, high quality sound, and the mic is well made then the cost is not really that important. I have used enough cheap crappy headsets to know that it is just not worth saving a couple buck if the product is shoddy. Well Arctic Cooling decided to launch a new audio line under "Arctic Sound"; the main focus of this line it quality components at rock bottom prices. I was skeptical at first when I was about to try their 5.1 headset its retail was well under $100 and for me that seemed way to cheap. Then I tried them; I will admit I was pleasantly surprised, not only were they incredible they were, by far, the best 5.1 headphones I have ever used. So now going into this review of the P321's and seeing their price tag hitting under $50 I am shocked but not as skeptical as last time, let's get these guys unboxed and see if a sub $50 headset is worth a second glance:

I tried the Arctic Sound P321's for gaming, I tried them for music, and I tried them for movies. What's the consensus? Well they are cheap! Price wise that is as far as everything else goes, they are great, bass is punchy, mids are clear and treble is smooth. Explosions sounds like explosions, and not fire crackers in a tin can. Bass music has killer substance and isn't over powering. And the overall movie experience is surprisingly isolating. The kicker is always the comfort, and the P321's deliver. Although they aren't as bass rich or comfortable as my SteelSeries Siberia V2's they are less than half the price....
Would I recommend this product? Yes, if you are on a budget and need the best bang (pardon the pun) for your buck, there is nowhere else to look past the Arctic Sound P321 Gaming Headset.
