BeAHeadcase.com iPhone 3GS Bottle Opening Case Review
Written by Munk
If you are a college student chances are your phone is your version of a survival knife. Our phones are our laptops, our calculators pretty much, our “everything”. So what does a Swiss army knife have that our iPhone doesn’t? Well potentially the most important tool a student could have on hand, a bottle opener. Sure there are belts with them in it and you can get the bottle opener rings but one thing you almost always have with you is your phone. The people at beaheadcase.com saw the need and filled it with the iPhone 3G/3GS and iPhone 4 case with an App you can download in which you can add any sound effect you like so when you open up a bottle or can it will play the specified sound you designate for it. So let’s get into this box and see what it’s all about:

• Stainless Steel Bottle Opener
• Opens Cans! Can tab can be used as a letter opener
• Outer rubberized coating
• Available in Pink and Black
• Ultra slim hard shell protective case
• FREE iPhone App with purchase

So what is there to be said about this case? Not much and I do not mean that in a negative way. It is a case that opens bottles and the app is a very cool bonus, but at the end of the day if you do not need your phone to open bottle it is not for you; although if you do need a bottle opening phone then for $20 the Be a Headcase is a no brainer.
Would I recommend this product? Yes, they will, however need to make an upper class version that has a cork screw and plays Bach when you pop the bottle in order to get a larger market share but overall it is a very unique idea that was well executed and if nothing else it is a conversation piece. The people at Be A Headcase seem to have a good sense of humor and I think they will do very well for themselves.
