http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:b2B5pQz1J7o8mM:http://images.pcworld.com/news/graphics/199207-goflex_tvcopy_slide.jpgI have seen a lot of media related products come through OverclockersHQ and they have all been pretty well made with great features and smart ideas. Seagats GoFlex Series has blown me away completely. Not only have they been able to produce quality products that compete with current models, but they have been able to seamlessly integrate all of their product line to be able to work individually, and team together to produce a quality in product integration that I have honestly never seen to date. I hope you are just as excited as I am about these products because this is truly impressive for both cost and quality so let's check it out more in depth:

Conclusion:

So what are my thoughts on the GoFlex Line from Seagate? Well simply put I am impressed, Seagate has taken the time to make something else I never knew I needed until now. There isn't much you can really improve on when it comes to media in my opinion but Seagate has turn my world on its head. This new line of products is awesome. I am impressed with ever one of the products, Firewire is probably the least interesting for me but the fact that these products are Mac compatible makes the addition of a Firewire 800 connector a no brainer. Seagate has take a smart step in the right direction to taking over the MultiMedia side of data backup and retrieval. WD has some catching up to do if they want to compete with the GoFlex line.

I would personally recommend these products to anyone. Even if you are not technologically inclined the GoFlex line makes Backing up and watching videos easy and stress free.

Although most of this was covered in the video I will add a few extra and stress a few I alread mentioned in the pros and cons below.

Pros:

  • Price
  • Integration
  • Great Codec Support
  • Fast Interface
  • Everything Looks Great
  • Quick and Easy
Cons:
  • I hope USB 3.0 is included and not an extra in Future Products
