It can be difficult for a case manufacturer to stand out from the crowed. Most case manufacturers try to go over the top with design and include bright LED’s and flashy features. The problem with all of these extras is the cost of the case usually dwarfs that of your standard white box. Aero Cool is starting up a new line of performance gaming cases the PGS series of cases is in a tiered pricing structure. The first to be launched is there bottom end gamer case the Victory Series. The way Aero Cool has chosen to stand out is by making a very decent gaming PC for the budget gamer. With all of the flair of a pricey case but the price point of a white box this batch should be a frugal choice. Let’s get a look:

To Sum It Up:

Normally when reviewing a product we show you the temperatures and how they performed. Due to time constraints we won’t be doing the temp test for this batch. Over all this new batch of Cases from B-gears is nothing short of awesome. Although there are better cases out there, the attention to detail on there “base line” can only mean great things for the rest of the PGS series coming out soon. All of the small bonuses like tool-less additions and the motherboard access from the back of the case means that the Aero Cool design team has been listening to us and is finally releasing a fantastic entry level case with all of the features we wished were in every case.

Conclusion:

So the final word on these new cases is this Aero Cool is definitely on the right track for its new performance gaming series of Chassis. At first glance everyone was especially impressed with the turbine fan on the Vx-e. Aero Cool is a relatively unknown compared to the big boys like Thermaltake and Antec in North America but I must say they are well on their way to dominating the market with their products. The first product of Aero Cools I ever used was there touch panel fan controller which was by far the best one I have ever seen. Next we received the Fans from them which again were features in a case fan I have never seen before now with this latest batch of cases I am seeing features (and they are made very well) I have only seen on cases with a price tag of over $100. Aero Cool will be a name to be reckoned with very shortly with this new batch of products.

Would I recommend these products? If I was to base this purely on price to feature ratio then I would say absolutely. I like the extras like a built in fan controller and attention to detail. Aero Cool has my personal seal of approval once again.

Pros:

  • Price
  • Style
  • Fan Controller
  • Full Back of Motherboard Access
  • Awesome Looking Turbine (Vx-e)
Cons:
  • Would Have Liked More Fans Included in Stock Models
