Test Setup: Aspire® 7720 The Aspire® 7720 with the innovative Acer® Gemstone chassis is designed for demanding multimedia users and features a powerful Intel® dual-core processor. Testing: To test the Cooler Master NotePal Infinite Notebook Cooler I will be putting it up against some similar notebook cooling pads. During the tests I will be looking at the temp of the hard drive, CPU, and GPU at both load and idle. The ambient temp in the room is 26°. in order to produce load I will be using Burn in software. Test: | Test | Evercool Hermes | Lapworks Futura | Desk | Notepal | | Idle HDD | 33° | 33° | 43° | 21° | | Idle CPU | 46° | 48° | 52° | 39° | | Idle GPU
