The Kingwin ABT-1000MA1S 1000W Power Supply is not your average power supply it is unique in its modular design and the addition of LED’s around the modular ports is a nice addition to the over all design. Another point I liked is that the PSU is not loud although I am pretty sure you would be using a bright LED PSU for an HTPC’s anytime soon it is always nice top have a quieter computer especially if you are in the same room with it when you are sleeping such as a dorm room or small apartment.

Would I recommend this PSU? Yes, I loved the Coolmax USA PSU and my Mushkin 800W PSU but the Kingwin PSU kicked them both to the curb and replaced both of them as my PSU of choice. The average user doesn’t need this much power but if you need a little less oomph without loosing the style you might want to look into one of the lower wattage Mach 1 series PSU’s from Kingwin.
