Conclusion:

The KingWin F-35 External Enclosure is a nice enclosure to keep on your desk. Its sleek appearance will enhance any desk area. I don’t know that I could recommend this item for portable use. The ABS housing may not hold up to much abuse. For those of you looking for an inexpensive hard drive enclosure with a futuristic look, check out the KingWin F-35 External Enclosure.

Pros:

Great capacity
Easy to install
Easy to set up
Great eye candy for your desk

Cons:

Lost the little screw that closes up the enclosure. Spent half an hour to find it. Would be nice to see it secured in the housing.
Instructions say to secure the hard drive using a screw. Unless you have an extra hard drive screw lying around, you’re out of luck. They don’t include one.
