Conclusion:

If you’re in that niche of hard-core gamers, this device is for you. With the ability to store those seldom-removed yet vulnerable USB dongles and the ability to add up to 6 additional USB ports with power supplied straight from the motherboard, the NZXT Internal USB Expansion may just give you that slight edge you need.

If you have an older system without enough USB ports, the NZXT Internal USB Expansion is an inexpensive way to add more without taxing your motherboard with excessive power demands.

Pros:

  • Easy to install
  • Adds up to 8 additional USB ports
  •  Self powered straight from power supply

Cons:

  • None that I can think of. It does exactly what it is advertised to do. No frills, no whistles, just a well-made product.
