Conclusion:

So in the end how well did the Sunbeam Tech Core-Contact Freezer stack up? I have always been one to aim for the product that falls around the middle price wise. You always seem to get what you paid for, to low and it just breaks or doesn't function well. I never want to spend too much money on something that I might not really notice, in this case I would have missed out on something great The Sunbeam Tech Core-Contact Freezer comes in with the middle price. It might not have done as well as the Noctua NH-U12P cooler, but seeing as how that cooler comes in with a price tag of $60 - $80, I think it’s well worth the sacrifice of a couple of degrees.

Would I recommend this? Hell yah. For the amount of cooling it does for such a low cost is almost unbelievable. For those of you that are looking for a great CPU cooler without taking a hammer to Sir. Oinks-a lot your old trusty piggy bank, then the Sunbeam Tech Core-Contact Freezer is what you are looking for. If Your an enthusiasts that has to drop every single degree and damn the cost, you might want to look elsewhere. Heck even if you are an enthusiast throwing a Noctua fan on this cooler would greatly increase its cooling capability. If you’re like most people I know, and you like to tweak and give your computer a gentle push, then the Sunbeam Tech Core-Contact Freezer would be a step in the right direction.

Pros:
  • Fairly Light
  • Easier To Install then Some Coolers
  • Low Price, Great Cooling
  • Good Quality
  • Includes A MFDB Fan
  • Includes Fan Controller
Cons:
  • With Fan Attached, Might Not Fit Some Motherboards
  • Thin Heat Sink Fins Might Bend During Installation
