When it comes to thermal materials, which do you trust to keep your computer running at peak efficiency? Do you rely on word of mouth, from people working in stores, or from people who do the leg work and run the numbers to find the best material for you? When we received the Sunbeam Tech Core-Contact Freezer the package included a tube of Tuniq TX-2. We decided that to see how well it worked that we would compare it to some popular thermal materials available. Also I will be reviewing the Tuniq TR-1 Thermal Material Remover. Let’s take a closer look at these products:
Products Provided By: Tuniq
Price: $4.99 (Tuniq TX-2 Cooling Thermal material)
Price: $6.99 (Tuniq TR-1 Thermal Material Remover)
Closer Look:
The Tuniq TX-2 Cooling Thermal Compound Comes in a small clear plastic bag, with a lable that simply displays the name and volume of the tube. The tube of Tuniq TX-2 displays its name and the spacs of the thermal material.
The Tuniq TR-1 Thermal Material Remover came in the exact same style of bag as the thermal material just with the name of the remover and the volume of the bottle being changed. The bottle itself displays the name and instruction of how to use it on the back.
