If you consider yourself a serious gamer, chances are you have a gaming mouse, keyboard, headset, and extreme graphics card. So my question to you is this: why on earth are you still using the greasy, cheesy powder covered mouse pad you got free with your credit union bank account? Don’t get me wrong I am not professing to say that just because you get a high end mouse pad you will magically rock out on COD or Left4Dead. I am however saying the guys at XtracPads and other gaming mouse pad makers spent a little more money in researching their pads then your average giveaway gimmick. So in this review we will really find out exactly what makes them so "amazing." So lets see if this is true and have a look at this pad up close:

Closer Look:
The packaging for the XTracPads Pro Gaming Mouse Pad is simple but very well designed. I must say that if I was going to buy a mouse pad I would look at this one because of its packaging. All of the information on its specs, cleaning, and maintenance is on the outside packaging as well. The little window on the front shows you what the mouse pad will look like which is always nice; I know I have mentioned this point a lot but some companies just don’t get it.
Included with the mouse pad is a XtracPads case badge; I like it when companies through in their case badges. I have quite a collection right now. At first glance it looks like an average soft mouse pad. When you start looking more closely you notice the quality; the mat has weight to it, and the grip is very impressive. I also love the feel of the mouse pad, it is very soft. We will see if the softness is a good option for gaming or not.
Let's check out the specs, features and testing:
