Testing:

Normally I break a pair of headphones down into separate tone categories to simplify this review I will say mids, bass, treble and highs were all very well voiced and pleasant to listen too. The drivers are very quick and have no issue keeping up with quick bass kicks and any other fast drumming. I tried these headphones through both my Burson Ha-160 and my Hifi Man EF2’s. This was by far the best pair of headphone I have tried in this price range and the connector quality is similar to headphones that are quadruple the price.

I have used hundreds of headphones and very rarely do I have any that stay in my collection very long but I think the Kitsound DJ headphones will remain on my listening shelf for a long time.

Conclusion:
I found these to be really comfortable which is great considering the price range. Next the sound quality was Awesome, the bass and treble were great and the mid range had no troubles whatsoever. There was no distortion or blending in the vocals or any other parts of the listening experience. These were marketed to DJ's but it is a truly snobby convoluted community with useless opinions and prejudices; more often then not, it is a group of fanboys for one company or another and all other companies are the pariah. That being said I truly believe all of the AKG, Sennheiser,  and Sony fanboys will be closet listeners of reasonably priced Kitsounds in the near future if they get their hands on a pair.

Would I recommend these? Absolutely! Not only do they produce great sound but they comfortable and all for a quite great price.

Pros:

  • Comfortable
  • Great sound
  • Has both 6.3 and 3.5 mm jacks.
  • Affordable
  • Blocks outside noise well

Cons:

  • None
