If you are the type to work with your hands, or you just like taking things apart chances are you have found the design of the human body to be inferior. Why? There never seems to be enough appendages. You always need at least two hands to do your work and a third to hold the flash light. Granted recruiting your children has worked so far but things like “school” and “bed time” get in the way of your child labor. Stop shaking your fist for a moment and listen, Striker has designed a snazzy little magnetic tool that can attach to where you need it and point a light directly where you want it without the need for whiny children. Finally kids can be used for what they were intended for. Things like mowing the lawn and doing the dishes, you know proper child labor. Let’s check out the LED Light Mine From Striker:

Provided by: Striker

Price: $7.99

Closer Look:

 Feature:

  • GET LIGHT IN TIGHT
Smaller than a golf ball, it is small enough to fit into tight areas and aim a powerful beam of light where it is needed most.
  • MAGNETIC
12 powerful rare earth (neodymium) magnets allow you to stick it to any steel surface and aim the light towards the workspace at almost any angle.
  • The Light
An intensely bright, wide angle LED

Conclusion:

This little unit is awesome me and Jordon (aka Profgiggles) used this light multiple time when we were mounting out rigs to various cases. What is perfect about the light mine is that you can focus it in on your motherboard when you are plugging in your power switch, reset switch, ide LED etc… cables into your motherboard. The uses for this little fella are endless. If you don’t have access to child labor or just don’t like people the Striker light mine might be the perfect tool for what you need.

Would I recommend this tool? Yes it is a fantastic little device and it is very bright. You can place it at just the angle you need due to its multiple magnets.

Pros:

  • Price
  • Durable
  • Bright
  • Multiple Angles
  • Compact
  • Doesn't Whine
Cons:
  • Switch is a little stiff but after a few days of use it loosens up
  • Bad for electronics
