Conclusion:
I was very happy with the Trendnet ProView Megapixel PoE Internet Camera’s performance. It proved to be a reliable and well made camera. The contrast was pretty sharp and crisp. The included software was easy to use and stable. Something small that I like about it was the power through Ethernet option since it cuts down on wires and makes setup that little bit easier since I didn’t have to find a unused outlet. I also found that the email alerts and motion detection recording was a nice touch making it very automated.
I would recommend this product, especially for those who want some relatively cheap security or a way to check up on your home while away.

Pros:

  • PoE Option
  • Motion detecting recording
  • Good resolution
  • Great Build Design
  • Easy to use software
  • Wide Viewing angle

Cons:

  • None so far
