  • Testing Setup:

    Testing:

In order to test the Power supply we use the standard LCD tester above. We then poll the Power Supplies voltages over an extended period of time and average out the voltages in both idle and load scenarios.Today we will be putting the Ultra 750W LSXup against the Sparkle Gold Class 850W Modular Power Supply , Cooler Master GS 750W and a PowerColor 1000W Modular PX.

    Conclusion:
Overall the Ultra LSX 750W PSU is a great power supply at a great price. I have seen a lot of power supplies in this price range and very few of them had the amperage that this bad boy puts out. 58 Amps on one 12 v rail is nothing to scoff at. Normally I will admit I like more than one 12V rail in this case, at this amperage, this powers upply should do everything you need it to right out of the box.

Would I recommend this power supply? Yes, if you are in need of a budget friendly PSU look no further than the Ultra LSX 750W Power Supply

    Pros:
    • Price
    • 12V Rail Amperage
    • Not Cheaply Built
    • Nice Looking
    Cons:
    • 12V Rail Might be a Draw Back for Some
