Although the Sparkle GTX 465 didn’t turn any heads in this competition the thing to take note of is its cost. The MSI Frozr II gtx 465n is about $60 more than the Sparkle GTX 465 and the Powercolor 5870 is well over double the price; so on that note the Sparkle GTX 465 has more then held its own as far as price to performance ratios go. Being able to run two of these in crossfire for the same price as a single 5870 should perk the interest of some of you out there. This would give you 2 GB of ram over 1.5 dual GPU Processing and the speed of SLI in your arsenal.
Would I recommend this card? On number alone, no, but when you start looking at your cost to performance ratio this card is by far the better choice, it may be a little louder and a little hotter than the MSI Frozr II but it is still $60 cheaper…You be the judge but if I was waiting to pull the trigger on a cart with the Frozr or a cart with a sparkle GTX 465 and a stick of ram for the same price the sparkle in my opinion is a no brainer.
