Closer Look
Lets take a look at the The Cooler Master Excalibur 120mm Case Fan. Inside this simple packaging may beat the heart of your next 120mm fan!
I’ve removed the clear plastic packaging so you aren’t blinded by the glare and can really see this fan. The packaging shows this fan to be “Silent”, “High Performance”, and “PWM”. You can also see the unique design on each of the nine blades.
Here is a close-up of the blade design for the Cooler Master Excalibur 120mm Case Fan. Notice the unique angle of the blade. There is a straight ridge running the length of the blade and the tip is angled as well. Cooler Master says that the “Fierce sword-shaped blade design generates higher air pressure” and “Triangular blade tip reduces turbulence at fan edge and decreases wind sheer noise while keeping maximum sweeping area.”
Looking at the tip, you can almost sense how each blade might create a vortex of air that can be grabbed by the next blade and slammed downward.
And here is the whole package. Included with your Cooler Master Excalibur 120mm Case Fan is a 4pin to Molex connector, a 3pin male to 3pin female connector to convert the 4pin on the fan, 4 fan screws, 4 rubber mounts for additional applications, and 4 rubber pads.
