The only wireless N stick I had on hand was dual-band so I wasn’t able to test the full potential of the TRENDNET TEW-691GR 450Mbps Wireless N Gigabit Router. I was able to test it’s range. And from my basement I was getting full bars to my main floor at around the top end of my wireless cards potential. The gigabit transfer speed was lightening fast. I ran the router straight through and also through a gigabit switch and I was impressed with the speeds every time.

Would I recommend this product? Yes, it is rock solid, fast, and if you are looking for a solution for streaming HD within your home it is a fantastic choice. For a small office setting this router would be a godsend to overall productivity. To all of you that ignore TRENDNET because you think it is a budget brand think again, they make incredible products and their service is above reproach. If you are looking for a new router skip over the D-link this time around and try something new.
